Hausner, Stephen (Steve)

Stephen (Steve) Hausner passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 75 years.
Steve was born in St. Louis to Matthew and Lucille Hausner on August 9, 1949. He attended Mehlville High School and went on to attend several different colleges. Steve served in the National Guard. He worked as a computer and sales consultant.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved attending his grandchildren’s events and cheering them on. He also enjoyed catching up with friends over coffee or lunch.
The passion of his life was his high school sweetheart and wife, Nancy Hausner. They enjoyed many activities together like going to the movie theater, pickleball, bike riding, and attending grandkid events until her passing.
He is survived by daughter, Candace Jernigan and her husband Mark; daughter, Christal Clark and her husband Dave; son, Craig Hausner and his wife Beth; daughter, Courtney; and 8 grandchildren, Catelynn, Caleigh, Michael, Matthew, Connor, Gene, Blake and Andrew. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear, he was a great man and was always someone to strive to be like in life! I only got to experience his wonderful personality and kindness in brief conversations way back when I was a tech at Waldens Auto, but always loved seeing him and the family come in.
