In Loving Memory

Heuvelman, Anne Marie (nee Reis)

died December 17, 2020, at the age of 100 years.  Born in St. Louis, she lived in the area most of her life and in St. Charles at the time of her death.  Anne was a 1938 graduate of Notre Dame High School.  She met the love of her life, John M. Heuvelman, in 1940 when she was his dance instructor at the Casa Loma Ballroom.  They married in July 1943; he preceded her in death in 1996. A devout Catholic, she was active in the parishes of which she was a member over the years.  Anne lived a life of kindness, grace, and consideration for others.  She had an amazing memory and a great sense of humor to the end.  Ever gracious and thoughtful, she made many friends and kept them all.  She is survived by her son John M. Heuvelman, Jr., her three grandchildren, John R. Heuvelman, Katie Heuvelman, and Andrew Heuvelman, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Carl (Erma) Reis and Robert (Joy) Reis.

Services: Visitation will be December 22, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Kutis Affton Chapel . 10151 Gravois  A funeral Mass will be held  Wednesday December 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthias Church.  Interment Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Anne’s name.  Give hope to kids with cancer.
