  1. Bob was a very good friend and neighbor. Ellen and I used to love going to the YMCA with him every Monday Wednesday and Friday. Sometimes Bob would drive sometime I would drive, we would work out and come home he would go into his garage start working on a birdhouse or stool or no telling what he was a very neat and good Craftsman, we have some of his bird houses in our backyard now we enjoy sitting and watching the birds remembering when Bob was such a good neighbor we will surely miss him. Sometimes when the grass needed to be cut in the front yard, Bob would be out there and cut it before Ellen or I could get out cut it, he always like a good looking yard, in fact it was almost like a golf course he even had the holes for the golf and kids would play golf on his lawn. He was the best man in our wedding in our lives in our neighborhood. He was like a brother to me.
Bob and I we’re only one week different in age, but he was the oldest. Ha ha ha.

  15. Mr. Kieffer (I just can’t bring myself to call him by his first name) was my 7th grade teacher at Ascension. I am not sure exactly what it was about him, but he left a very good impression and influence on my life. I am therefore very sad to here of his passing. He will be missed.

  19. I would like to express my condolences to his family. Mr. Kieffer was my 6th and 7th grade teacher at Ascension in 1967 and 1968. His daughter Sheila was a grade behind me. He loved teaching Science and we did many fun and learning activities. He was a good man and teacher. I shall always remember him.
