In Loving Memory

Kreuger, Duane T.

Kreuger, Duane T. 54, of Creve Coeur Missouri passed away in Northern Minnesota this past Sunday, May 26, 2024.  He died doing what he loved most – fishing.  Duane was an accomplished Geologist and consultant with a keen eye for detail and safety. Duane received his Geology degree at the University of Illinois.  He worked at Geotechnology, LLC (UES) for more than 30 years and was well-loved and respected by his peers.  He was dedicated to selflessly donating his time and resources to the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) where he held local and national officer and board positions, including President.  Duane was also a prolific contributor to many charitable causes including the AEG Foundation.  Duane was known for his quick wit and humor, and his extreme kindness toward others.  In addition to fishing, his favorite hobbies were camping, cooking, live music, and teaching others.  He was also very creative with a pen in his poems and drawings – that we will miss dearly.  Loving son of Larry and Jan Kreuger, beloved brother and best friend of Daren Kreuger and sister-in-law Kathie Jenkins Kreuger, and dear uncle to Brad, Adam, and Josh Kreuger, as well as a friend to so many.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at Westport Event Center at 12031 Lackland Rd. St. Louis, Missouri, 63146 on Wednesday, June 19th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, those interested in making a donation, we suggest donating to the AEG Foundation in honor of Duane.
