Lydon, Mary Kathryn (formerly Mess) nee Grady, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Friday, December 10, 2021. Preceded in death by Valentine Mess and James Lydon. Dear sister of the late Virginia McKenna; loving mother of the late Gregory (Charlotte) Mess, Mark (Jackie) Mess, Marsha (Joseph) Numi, Keith (Veronica) Mess, Kathryn (late Timothy) O’Toole, stepmom to Susan (Mark) Tackes and Patricia Lydon; adoring “Momo” to twelve grandchildren and great-grandchildren, dear aunt and friend.

Mary Kay “Kack” was a longtime volunteer at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and she was happiest when she was surrounded by her large, Irish family. She was a faithful woman who loved her Lord, family, and friends. She will be missed.

Memorial donations may be sent to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital or St. Vincent DePaul appreciated.

  5. Asking the good Lord to comfort the family of my childhood friend, Kack Grady.
    She is the last of her birth family and as I reflect on Bill, Mary Ellen, Ginny and Aunt Maw I know they have been waiting patiently for her arrival. Kack is home now!
