  4. I never met Greg, but knew of him through his brother John whom spoke highly of him. The hardest thing about being a parent is not so much as raising our children as is to see them leave before us. I’m sure Greg left a big foot print on the hearts of many who truly knew him and will be missed dearly. My condolences go out to all of you.

  5. Mrs. Maurath and John,
Sharon and I have offered up prayers for Greg since we learned about his passing. Condolences to you both and all of your family. May God bring Greg into heaven soon if he is not there already.

    • Thanks so much friends Dan and Sharon! Prayers are so essential for all of us, even into eternity, for in the Holy Bible (2 Maccabees 12:46, Douay-Rheims Bible) it reads, “It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, so that they may be loosed (freed) from sins”.

  6. I remember Greg mostly as a kid and as a teenager. That was before I moved away to Germany. His brother John and I went to high school together, and I would stay overnight at his parents’ house sometimes. I always liked Greg. He was a good guy.

My deepest condolences go out to the whole Maurath family.

    Rest in peace, Greg.

  7. Rest in Peace cousin!
I have some great childhood memories of all of us together, but not enough to really get to know you. Family is everything and I wish we all could have spent more time together.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your loved ones. 🙏🏻
    Love you,
    Sandy and family

  8. I have wondered childhood memories of Greg. I always thought he was such a cool older cousin.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
