  1. Aunt Sallie was an extremely fun, active, talented and loving lady. She had a marvelous sense of humor and a twinkle in her eye. We didn’t get to spend nearly enough time together, but she was Mom’s best friend as well as sister.
Enjoy Heaven and we’ll see you one day.
Love, Valerie (Nelson) Orr and Freddie Orr

  2. So sorry for your loss but she’s in a much better place. Wish I could attend like for Tom but my airline service changed and now goes to Chicago and I can’t drive very far with my back. Love to all, Steve

  4. Aunt Sallie was fun. As kids, we all looked forward to seeing her. Whether she was playing cards with the folks or just visiting she was fun. She had a great sense of humor but she was a Thompson and if she had an opinion, she was glad to share it. Mom truly loved her and as Val said, she was more than her sister, she was her best friend. That’s the kind of person Sallie was. She was special, loving, and caring. She raised some great kids and she will be missed. Our condolences to the family for their loss but know she is in a much better place with everlasting joy and contentment. We love you. RIP Sallie
