Terry Eugene Nash, born February 22nd, 1961 in Salem, MO, died peacefully at his home in St. Louis, MO, on July 21st, 2023. Devoted partner of Sandy Henson, dedicated father to Jennifer Nash and Tracey (Michael) Leyva, doting grandfather to grandchildren Noah Bequette, Dylan Leyva, and Claudia O’Donnell, beloved son of Margie Nash, steadfast brother to Michael (Dallena) Nash, dear uncle of Sarah and Ian Nash. Terry was preceded in death by his loving father, Freddy Nash.
Terry grew up in Dogtown where he lived and breathed all things sports. He was a phenomenal catcher for the varsity baseball team at Southwest High School amongst many other club leagues.
A hard worker, Terry held various jobs throughout his youth. You could find him pumping gas or working at a fried chicken joint during his teen years. Later in life, Terry began his career with Ziebart Tidy Car and eventually worked his way to own the business. There he built years long relationships with his clients and coworkers.
Terry was a great man. A lover of nature and all things outdoors. He lived life fully and was always ready for fun with a beer and a great joke with friends. An ornery man, he kept his niece, nephew, and grandchildren in line with Duct tape. Terry’s time to shine was always Fourth of July weekend at his cabin in Beaufort, MO. There you could find him stoking a fire, playing horse shoes, grilling, riding motorcycles, and more importantly, putting on a spectacular fireworks display. Terry was fearless and what some would consider a pyromaniac.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Miami Brain Bank Endowment http://www.miamibrainbank.org/ on his behalf.
