Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, March 30, 2017.  Beloved husband of 59 years to Nancy Dorene  Nienhaus (nee Soetebier); loving father of Carol (Mike) Wuerffel, Tom (Carol)  Nienhaus, Karen (Kenny)  Skidmore, Tim (Cheri) Nienhaus, Kathy (Luke) Kratky, Ann (Dan) Sutter and Dan  (Chalee) Nienhaus; proud grandfather of 21  grandchildren and 9 great  grandchildren; preceded in death by his mother Hilda Nienhaus (Heinkel), his father Harry Nienhaus and brothers Jim Nienhaus, Reverend Gerry Nienhaus, Bill Nienhaus and Sister Helen Therese Nienhaus;  survived by his brothers Harry Nienhaus, Mike Nienhaus and sister Betty Immer; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, Godfather, friend, coach and a Navy Veteran.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Friday, April 7, 9:45 am to Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church, 6737 S. Rock Hill Rd., for 10 am Mass.  Interment  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,  contributions appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Visitation Thursday, 4-8 pm.[]
