Leonard Elmer Sparks passed away on March 10th at the age of 91.
Leonard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan, his son Thomas Sparks, and siblings, Edward Sparks, Albert Sparks, Rosemary Martin, Walter Sparks, Zebedee Sparks, and Thomas Sparks.
He was survived by his loving daughter, Mary Beth Herold, grandson Matthew Herold and wife Melissa, their children Taylor Turano, Hayle, Raegyn, and Elijah Herold. Granddaughter Michelle Hart and husband Andy and their children Carlos, Jackson, and Oliver Hart, grandsons Justin and Cody Sparks and siblings; Verna Cardinale, Betty Burkett, and James Sparks. He was loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and Friend.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Friday, April 16, from 4-8 p.m., then taken to St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church on Saturday, April 17, for 10 a.m. mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

All my thoughts and prayers go out to the surviving family members. I loved Len and my most fond memories with him are the times we spent t volunteering together at the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. He was the best “Popcorn Papa” they ever had serve the families!!! Rest In Peace sweet man!!!

Len was a wonderful and kind man! I loved his stories and especially listening to his work at the Fox Theatre in St Louis. Saying special prayers for the entire family!
