May 15, 1988 – December 1, 2018

SPENCE, Alisha La’Shell, 30 years old of Cape Coral, FL beat us all to the arms of Jesus on

December 1, 2018. Born May 15, 1988 to Timothy Orenthal Spence and Tammy Lynn Mungle (nee Cooley) formerly Spence of Memphis, TN

Alisha is survived by her children Jordan John Alexander Asta (15), Miyanna Renae Asta (14), Mackenzie Elizabeth Schamel (9), Michael Elijah Schamel (9), Mother Tammy Lynn Mungle (nee Cooley) (spouse Jeffrey), Father Timothy Orenthal Spence, Siblings Jonathan Tyler Spence, Timothy Christian Spence, Jeffrey Arnold Mungle Jr.(spouse Jessie), Joshua Fredrick Mungle, Grandparents Brenda Gail Sumner, Felicia Bell Cleaves, Louis Washington Cooley (spouse Lawanda) and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

Alisha grew up in Memphis, TN and at the age of 7, she became a big sister to her little brother Jon. Shortly after Jon was born she and her new baby brother moved to St. Louis MO with their mother. Alisha always loved her little brother so much and was so protective of him as if he was her own. Alisha had her oldest children while in High School and though faced with what would be a difficult road ahead she kept her children and worked hard and graduated from Hancock High School in May of 2006 with A’s & B’s. Alisha was loved by all her teachers and even visited school often after graduation to keep in touch. In February 2008 she graduated from Missouri College with a Medical Assistant Degree. She received the surprise of her life at 20 years old, when she learned that she was having twins. She was overjoyed. Her children are what gave her the will to keep pressing on and getting back up. She LOVED being a momma. Alisha recently became engaged to Bryan Morales and couldn’t wait to show off her ring.  She was so excited to start her new life and had already began seeking out wedding destinations.

Alisha was special, she was a creative and talented young woman. Singing, drawing and writing were just a few of her gifts. She loved hard and when she got hurt she got hurt hard.  She loved to laugh and everyone loved to hear her laugh, she never met a stranger and she loved adventure and believed in being who you are. Alisha was compassionate and hated to see people hurt or struggling. She was also very out spoken and was very quick to voice her opinion….she had high highs and low lows and those that really knew her loved ALL of her. Her absence in this world will be felt by many and she will NEVER be forgotten.
