Stein (nee Shocklee); dear father of Mary (Greg) Blankenship, Lisa (Rick) Morris, Larry and the late Susan and Thomas Stein.  Cherished grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 14;  our dear uncle, great uncle and friend to all.

Funeral Mass celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Tuesday, June 16, 10:30 a.m. Private interment at  Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.   KUTIS AFFTON SERVICE

    What an honor is was to have known this man. He lived such an honorable life serving his country, marrying a magnificent woman and raising terrific children. A true legend indeed. RIP John Stein.
