Wachter, Sue R. age 85, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, January 6, 2024. Beloved wife of William Wachter for over 62 years. Dearest mother of John (Tammy)Wachter, Cathe (Jim) Duehren and Chrissie (Tony) Bandera; Dearest Grandmother of Samantha Duehren, Hannah Goehl (Wachter), William Bandera, Joshua Wachter and Sophia Bandera; loving daughter of the late John and Hazel Harter; dear sister-in-law, Godmother and friend to all she met.
Sue was a graduate of Nerinx Hall High School, Queen of CBC High School, graduate from Fontbonne University, 2nd grade teacher at Assumption Catholic School, Layperson and Eucharistic Minister; Assumption Catholic Church Parishioner. Sue lived a full life with a family focus for love and happiness with her family and daily spiritual devotion to her Catholic faith.
 Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois) Friday January 12th 10 AM until 11:30 AM procession to Assumption Catholic Church (4725 Mattis Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128) for 12 PM Mass. Burial at Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery.
