Loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Joyce was one of three children. Joyce was married to the love of her life, Tom Long, on March 28th, 1969. Joyce and Tom celebrated 56 years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband Tom and daughter Dawn Gmerek (nee Long) and Dawn’s husband Doug Gmerek. Her favorite pastime was enjoying a game of baseball by her beloved St. Louis Cardinals. She supported the team no matter if they win or lose. In remembrance of her and the love of her team, please come wearing your Cardinals attire to celebrate one last game.
Services will be on Monday evening May 5th from 4pm to 9pm at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 6th at 11am at Kutis. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey, 3211 Sublette Ave, 63139.
