Frank Edward Buechel was born on June 18, 1943 to Charles and Velma (nee Alexander) Buechel in St. Louis, MO and entered into rest on June 8, 2025 at the age of 81.
Dear father of Lucas Buechel, James (Michelle) Buechel, Laura (Joe) Chapman, Frank (Sarah) Buechel, Jr., and the late Tim (Tonya) Buechel. Dear Brother of Dorothy Ainsworst. Loving grandpa of Connor, Timmy, Alex, Tori, Mina, Richard, Alexis, and River. Great grandfather of Logan. Dear cousin, uncle and friend of many.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman. If you needed a survivalist he would be your man! He also like to shoot pool. He was a proud Viet Nam Veteran.
SERVICES: A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at St. Lucas United Church of Christ at 10:00 a .m. on Friday, June 20. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial gifts in his honor appreciated to the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight.
I am so sorry about the death of Frank. Chuck and I spent many dinners and time with him. I am sure he is happy to be spending more time with his brother now. They were quite a pair. My deepest condolences to the whole family.
