Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Harold “Russ” Lloyd Russell; significant other of Chris Miller; loving mother of Matthew Aaron Russell, and Frank (Lisa) LaMotta; caring step-mother of Timothy (Diane) Russell, Mary Ann (David) Keller, Kathleen Russell, and James “Jimmy” Russell; loving sister of Robert Charles (Diane) Schmerber Jr., Kathleen Mary (the late Gary W.) Schlueter, Joseph Jude (Nancy Bryant) Schmerber, and Margaret Mary (Kermit) Walth; beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, aunt, great-aunt and dear friend of many.

Preceded in death by parents Robert Charles and Patricia Lorraine Jane Schmerber Sr.; siblings Daniel William (Ann) Schmerber, Patricia Ann York, Theodore John Schmerber; grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Elks Lodge # 2634, 6330 Heege Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123.

Service Wednesday, August 13, 8:40 a.m. from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. to Seven Holy Founders, 6737 S. Rock Hill for a 8:50 a.m. MASS.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Visitation Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

  1. I met Cis @Elks Lodge 9yrs.ago always had a smile & spoke her mind but she fought this cancer do hard but could not beat it may she be @peace .Those who knew her & loved her will miss her my condolences to all of the Families & Friends & to her Elks Family @#2635
