Arink

In Loving Memory

Arink, Mark Charles

July 10, 1961 - September 9, 2025

Mark Charles Arink, 64, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Born on July 10, 1961, in Fort Riley, Kansas, Mark grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Lindbergh High School. He cherished time spent with friends, especially enjoying fishing at the lake and traveling to Florida each year for his annual golf trip. A devoted sports fan, Mark rarely missed a chance to cheer on the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals. He also looked forward each year to traveling to the Indianapolis 500, a tradition he loved.

Mark was the beloved son of the late William Joel Arink and Mary Patricia Arink; a dear brother to the late Deborah Van Arink and Paul (Maria) Arink,  Anne (Ray) Seger, Bill (Danielle) Arink, and John Arink. Stepbrother to Patti (Tony) Spenard and Kim White. He was a loving uncle to Sheena (Justin) Beierman, Hannah (Michael) Schurwan, Brenna (Chad) Walker, Ashley (Eric) Combs, Colin Seger, Michael Arink, Brendan Arink, and Audrey Arink, and a proud great-uncle to Chloe, Amelia, Lucy, Eli, Jack, Colton and Colt. His family and friends will remember his easygoing nature, love of laughter, and dedication to the people and pastimes he cherished most.

A private celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
