Kelam, Doris E. (nee Ellis), passed away on September 16, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard T. Kelam; loving mother of Lenny (Lisa) Kelam, Jr., Eric (Lana) Kelam, Scott Kelam, Mike (Tracey) Kelam and Stacey Kelam; cherished grandmother of Trista, Josh, Jacob, Jason, Nathan, Brendan, Logan, Tara, Alex, Slade and great-grandmother of Cooper, Kamri, Kayden, Eva, Prince, Bentlee, Kynlee, Lacey and Arianna; dear sister of Carl (the late Judy) Ellis and the late Laroy (JoAnn survives) Ellis, Irma Dean Hart, Maxine Arnell, Robert Ellis and Thelma Thompson.

Services: Memorial visitation at Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 11096 Hwy 21, Hillsboro, MO on Monday, September 22, 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Inurnment later at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, appreciated.

  1. I will never forget my true friend. We had such good times when our kids were very young and grew up together and driving them to the bus stop. We would go to ur house and have coffee and gossip. You raised your kids up to be very good ones. U will be missed by a lot of people that new you. The kids will have a lot of memories of u. Love ❤️ ya’s. RIP Doris.
