Linda Hinchey, aged 74 passed away peacefully on 8 December 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted partner to Mitch for 43 year’s. A cherished mother of Sherrie and James.
She loved traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family, who brought her endless joy.
Her kindness extended beyond our family. She never met a stranger that she didn’t know.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Saturday, December 13th. Visitation will be from 3-7PM with a service at 4PM.

I was truly blessed to spend time with Aunt Linda when she visited Rich here in Chicago. She was so full of life and joy. Whether we were going out to eat, sharing laughs during game night, or even making a stop at the casino, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm and warmth.
She spoke often and lovingly about her family, and it was clear how deeply she cherished her children and grandchildren. That love radiated from her in everything she said and did. Even when she talked about her work selling hearing aids, her care for people was unmistakable—she spoke with such compassion and sincerity that you couldn’t help but feel valued just listening to her.
Aunt Linda loved well, laughed freely, and left a lasting impression on all of us here in Chicago. I am holding your family close in prayer as you grieve her loss. She was a beautiful presence in my life, and her love will always be remembered.
