Ourania Tzianos, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on August 10, 1926, in the village of Kato Meropi, Greece, and passed away peacefully in St. Louis, Missouri, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and love.
Ourania was the devoted wife of the late Mihail Tzianos. She was a loving mother to Dimitrios, the late Agni (née Karagiannis), and Vassilios, and mother-in-law to Harry Karagiannis. She was the cherished daughter of Fr. Vassilios and Dimitra, and a beloved sister to Eleftheria, Sofia, and Thalia.
She was a proud grandmother to Timothy (Jill), Steve, Michael (Kate), and John Karagiannis; Michael (Emily), Nina (Sarah), and Nicholas Tzianos; and Sabrina (Justyn) Boulais. She was also a treasured great-grandmother to Jack, Samuel, and Grace Karagiannis; Angelo (Julia) and Harry Karagiannis; Kosta, and Joe Karagiannis; Alex, Logan, and Bella Boulais; and Maria, Ellie, and Mila Tzianos; and Theo Tzianos.
Ourania loved spending time outdoors and talking to her neighbors from her porch in her home in Ioannina, Greece, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at 10am on Monday, February 9, 2026, followed by interment at St. Matthew Cemetery.
