Mullen, Robert P. “Pete”, age 76, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Sophia Mullen. He is survived by his children, Jeff and Jenny Mullen; his former spouse, Roseanne Mullen; and his sisters, Mary Jane (Rick) Kopac, Carole (David) Christman, Susie (Steve) Gestring and Jean (the late Jim) Nuelle; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Pete had a deep love for music and was a talented musician, especially known for playing bass and acoustic guitar. Music was more than a hobby—it was a connection he cherished and shared with his children. Pete was also known for his great sense of humor, which brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. St. Louis, MO 63123 on Tuesday, February 10th, 4-8 PM. Funeral service at Kutis Affton Chapel on February 11th at 10:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) appreciated.
My heartfelt condolences are with Roseanne, Jeff, and Jenny especially, but also with Pete’s extended family and friends. Although I haven’s had the opportunity to see him much since I left the St. Louis area, he always has and will have a special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to see him a year and a half ago and he still had that twinkle in his eye and subtle smile that I remember so well. Keep an eye out for Steve, Pete — I’m sure he’d love to hang out! Love to you all.
