Entered into rest on February 10th, 2026, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Johann Reinbold, as well as her father Martin Krawat, her mother Gertrude (Hochrein) Krawat, her brothers: Matthew Krawat, Martin Krawat and Sepi Krawat and her sisters: Magdelana (Krawat) Mishkov, Mary (Krawat) Dominos, and Eva (Krawat) Pierce. She is survived by her brother, Anton (Wanda) Krawat. Loving mother to her daughter Anna (Dan) Crosby, and two sons: John (Becky) Reinbold and Tom (Christene) Reinbold. Loving grandmother to her six grandchildren and great grandmother to her 13 great-grandchildren and her step-great granddaughter and step great great granddaughter. Katharina was a strong, witty, and at times wonderfully stubborn woman with lots of determination, whose life was deeply rooted in her faith. She loved generously and was loved by all who knew her. She found peace and solace in her garden, tending to her flowers with the same care she gave to her family. In her younger years she delighted in entertaining, cooking for others, and gathering loved ones around her table. Above all, she treasured her family. She cherished her time with her grandchildren, and in her later years, her great-grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Sunday February 15th 4:00-7:00 PM, and on Monday February 16th 11:30 AM until service at 1:30 PM. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
