Christine Kinkade

In Loving Memory

Kinkade, Christine Anita (nee Ollington)

February 23, 1951 - May 31, 2026

Christine Anita Kinkade, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. She was 75 years old.

Christine was born on February 23, 1951, in England, where she grew up in London. In 1969, she met the love of her life, Dave, while he was stationed in London serving in the United States Air Force postal service. Their connection quickly grew into a lifelong partnership. In 1970, she moved to the United States, and the couple married that same year, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned decades.

Christine was a compassionate and nurturing woman whose life centered around caring for others. She had a deep love for her family and was especially devoted to her children: daughter Jenny (Kinkade) Wolfe and her husband Mike; son David Kinkade and his wife Chie; and son Richard Kinkade and his wife Laura. She extended that same care beyond her family, opening her home to provide child care for many children over the years, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Grace Wolfe, Caroline (Wolfe) Cherry, Laura Wolfe, Cassie Kinkade, Caleb Kinkade, and Gavin Holloway. Her grandchildren brought her great joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Christine also had a special love for animals, particularly her dogs and birds, which brought her great happiness throughout her life. She was actively involved in the Gateway Parrot Club, where she connected with others who shared her passion.

Her faith was an important part of her life. She attended First Baptist Church of Murphy and was active in its senior community. She also participated in Crocheting 4 Christ at First Baptist Church of Arnold, where she combined her love of service with fellowship.

Christine will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to live on in all those whose lives she touched.

A celebration of life service will be held on June 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Murphy, with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crocheting 4 Christ, the Gateway Parrot Club, or the de Greef Hospice House.
