In Loving Memory of Linda Wiedermann

Linda Wiedermann (née Schalk) became an angel and joined her beloved husband, Walter Wiedermann, in Heaven on August 14, 2026. After courageously fighting for the past eleven years, Linda is now at peace.

Linda devoted much of her adult life to the Girl Scouts of the USA. She gave countless hours as a troop leader, cookie coordinator and day camp organizer. Her dedication touched the lives of so many young girls and families in the St. Louis community.

A lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, Linda proudly cheered for her team—or yelled at them from the sidelines! She enjoyed collecting Cardinals memorabilia and standing in line at the gate for the latest giveaway. Linda also loved all things Disney and was fortunate to make many wonderful memories with her family on Disney vacations.

Linda was a devoted mother who raised four amazing children: Brian Wiedermann, Denise Cain, Scott Wiedermann, and Lisa Campbell. She never missed a band competition, baseball game, scouting event, or any other important moment in their lives.

Linda was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and a sister, Carol Jacobsmeyer, all of whom loved her dearly. Linda will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, sister, extended family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.

Rest peacefully, Linda. Your courageous fight is over, and you are reunited with Walter. You will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 5508 Telegraph Rd. (63129) Tuesday, August 18, from 4-8 pm, Disney attire encouraged. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 10:00 am at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, with St. Louis Cardinals attire encouraged. Interment St. Paul’s UCC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ appreciated. Kutis South County service.
