Zachary Franciscus Mathews passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.
He was the beloved son of John and Christine Mathews (née Forster); loving brother of Sarah Mathews and twin sister Lillian (William Michel) Mathews; and cherished grandson of Gerald Forster, Kathleen Forster, Mary Lue Mathews, and the late Wilfrid Mathews. Zack was a dear nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.
South Tech High School had a profound impact on Zack’s life, helping him build the foundation to achieve his dream career. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Tech’s Automotive Technology program. Donations will go directly to the Auto Tech Rotary Fund, which exclusively supports students in the program.
