Laurie Ann McCartney, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Laurie was a loving wife a best friend, mother, stepmother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Terry McCartney, her daughter‘s Ashley Wasson, Nicole Behymer, her step children, Sean McCartney, sheila McCartney, and her grandchildren, Cooper, Easton, Kylynn, Kennedy, Kameron, Kaleb, and Haven. Laurie was also a beloved sister of Margie Fisher, (Bob) Marilyn Martens ( Jim ) Diane Perkins ( Ray ) Steve Dischbein ( Darlene ) and her late brother Fred “Fritz” Dischbein. Laurie‘s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted, wife, loving mother, grandmother, and caring sister who treasured the time she shared with those close to her. Laurie‘s warmth, kindness and love will remain in the hearts and memories of her family and dear friends. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had to privilege and honor of knowing her.
Service; Funeral service at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday October 2, 2026 at 11AM. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation at Kutis Thursday October 1st from 4-7PM
