Boaz, Capt. Robert O. “Bo” fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday January 20, 2018. Beloved husband  of the late Georgette M. Boaz (nee Kabbaz); dear father of Terry (Pat) and Rick (Angie) Boaz; adored grandfather of Sandy Boaz and Jake Boaz; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.

After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he joined the St. Louis Police Department in 1952, where he served for 38 years. During his career, he was awarded the Medal of  Valor. After retiring from the police  department, he worked in customer relations at Whalen Security. He will be missed by his many friends at Pietro’s and fishing buddies at Truman Lake.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Thursday, January 25, 9:15 a.m. to Sacred Heart Church (Valley Park) for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Backstoppers appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 3-9 p.m.
