Beloved husband of Linda Habel (nee Homeier); loving father of Christopher and Timothy  (DeAnna) Habel; adoring grandfather of Sydney and Blake; dear brother of the late Marian (Paul) Haegele, Carol (Glenn) Kammerer and William (surviving Mary Lou) Habel; our dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Michael was a risk manager for Luhr Brothers Contractors for over 30 years.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois  Wednesday, January 31, 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church (4725 Mattis Rd., 63128) for 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment at Assumption Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Cancer Society  appreciated. Visitation  Tuesday, 4-8 p.m.
