Gambino, Marie A.

(nee Schillizzi) passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Frank  Salvatore Gambino; mother of Patricia Bothman (Richard), Perry Gambino (Nancy) and Angela Gambino; grandmother of Brian Gambino (Janelle), Katie Gambino-Villiger (Travis); great-  grandmother of Franceso Salvatore Gambino (Sweet Frank).

A devout Catholic, Marie had a strong work ethic, and was a committed parishioner at St. Mary Magdalen, were she attended Mass daily, was a member of the Rosary Group, and was  involved with the monthly soup kitchen.

Services: Visitation at St. Mary Magdalen (4924 Bancroft Ave. St. Louis, 63109) on Saturday, November 24, from 10 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m. Family would like to thank the entire staff at  Bethesda South Gate for the loving care extended to Marie. A special thanks to Sue LaChance, RN, and to all who visited and prayed for Marie. In lieu of flowers or Mass cards, donations  appreciated to Bethesda Hospice (1630 Des Peres Rd., Suite 290, St. Louis, 63131). Interment on Monday, 9:15 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
