In Loving Memory

Edinger, Calvin “Cal”

Edinger, Calvin “Cal”

72, passed Monday, September 9 peacefully in his sleep. He leaves behind his son, Jacob; daughter-in-law, Toni; grandson, Wesley; granddaughter, Charli; and his three brothers, Charles, James and Lawrence. He attended St. Louis University on a basketball scholarship and finished his BA in Business Administration after serving his country in the Army. He always loved animals and soon began training and caring for horses. His best days were spent in a saddle or walking beside a child on their first ride. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, dedicated father and “Big Pop” to his grandkids and willing supporter of others. In his final act, he generously donated his organs to those in need.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in his name to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri at 1705 S. Hanley Road, St. Louis, MO or online at apamo.org
