  1. RIP, Pat. We knew each for 50 years. Dated, married, divorced, as parents to our beyond wonderful son, Patrick, and as friends all along the way. You called me “Sil”, short for Silly Sally, your nickname for me. See you on the other side, with all whom have gone before us.

  2. My condolences and deepest sympathy to Pats’s family. We were in the Navy and stationed aboard the same ship together for 2 years. We were look a-likes…. In the same division and the best of friends. Came to my parents home in Massachusetts once, where we had a great time.. Visited me in 1995 after his son’s graduation in Maine. We just re- connected a couple years ago. Rest in eternal peace, my friend, in the loving embrace of God.

  4. Thank you for the kind words about Pat.
I knew he was on the USS Bausell, but now that you mention the USS Chilton, I remember him speaking of it. I asked Bob also, how did you hear of Pat’s passing?

    • Thanks, Bob. So happy that Gina let you know. It is difficult not knowing what happened to people. She took wonderful care of Pat.
