  5. I just spoke with Anthony on Oct 12 regarding our class reunion. He told me to get some help with it. Lol Anthony, was not just a friend, but a person who I have know since we were kids. I believe it was like 3rd grade! We wrestled on the same high school team, and graduated from high school together. I’m praying for all the lives he has touched. Class of 1995!!!

  7. I wanted to recognize one of the best humans many were lucky enough to call a friend, Anthony. From trivia nights, concerts, baseball games, cookie walks, charity events, comedy nights, pet adoptions, Lindenwood events, and list goes on. Anthony always shared how important his life with Eileen, their families and close friends were to him. Anthony lived life to his fullest showing up for everyone with a need.

Time was cut short on our near 30 years of friendship. Without a doubt, Lindsey Cole Devereux and I were given a gift meeting Anthony our first week of college at Lindenwood University and building a life long friendship. We will keep our memories near to our heart of all the adventures we shared.

  8. I am saddened by the loss of a wonderful coworker and someone I came to call a friend. You were someone I could always count on—for a laugh in the middle of a hectic day, for a bit of wisdom when things got tough, and for letting me vent before helping me find the humor in it all. I truly admired your professionalism, your kindness, and your ability to make every situation lighter just by being there. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, time and odd cat videos.

  11. Anthony is a husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked hard for many years earning his degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Nonprofit Administration. Dedicating his many years of study and education to making a difference every day with Dismiss House. He was an advocate and fierce supporter as well as board member with Dismiss House, the Heart Transplant Association, Lindenwood Alumni Advisory Council, Pandemic Response Team, Forest Park Advisory Board, and the Federal Courts Gang Re-entry Initiative Program.

Spending countless hours volunteering for Midwest Transplant Services, Little Kickers as a soccer coach, Triple A tee ball coach, and the Vandeventer Mediation and Healing Garden.

He consistently worked to improve the lives of other. Living on what seemed like borrowed time he made it his mission to make every day impactful. He would find new adventures such as competing in the MR340, a 3 day 340 mile kayak race. Of course he didn’t just do this as a personal challenge but as a means to raise funds for families awaiting heart transplant. He successfully raised enough donations to have a dedicated room “the Kayak Room” established and furnished by Anthony to help families in need with a place to stay while awaiting a heart transplant.

If Anthony was in your life you were lucky to know him. He was the kind of person that you could always call. He was always there to listen, give advice or help anyway he could. If time had passed you would never know it. Your friendship would just pick back up from where it was left. Never was there a moment wasted and your time together was meaningful. It is truly an understatement to say that he was an amazing person. He lived life to it’s fullest.

  18. Anthony, unfortunately I did not have much time to get to know you but I feel truly blessed for the time I did have.
You were a true mentor who taught all of us, through your example, that no matter what an individual’s circumstances are in life EVERYONE is to be treated with compassion, empathy, and love.
Your life of Service and Giving has most certainly earned you the words we should all strive to hear one day:
WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT
    Rest in peace my friend.

  22. Anthony, it’s hard to say goodbye to someone who has been such an inspiring leader and mentor. Thank you for always recognizing and appreciating the hard work and dedication of those around you—you’ve truly set the standard for what great leadership looks like.

I’ve learned so much from your guidance, encouragement, and the example you’ve set in just the short time I’ve known you. Your positive energy, sense of humor, and love for friendly competition—whether at Top Golf, trivia night, or cheering on the Cardinals—made every day a little more fun and memorable. I will miss our talks about marathons and Kayaking and trying some of your favorite restaurants.

You’ve made a lasting impact on all of us, both professionally and personally.
You are greatly missed! My condolences to your family, friends, and coworkers.

  26. I have known Anthony since Kindergarten, and have many fond (and very funny) memories of him and all of his shenanigans. We were neighbors and we rode the same bus to and from school for years. Anthony was quick-witted and never failed to inject just the right amount of snark into a conversation. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. My most sincere condolences to Pat, Eileen, Adam and the rest of his family. Saying prayers for peace and comfort for you all.
