Baeumner, Maxine (nee Medley), was born July 4, 1929, she died November 4, 2024 at Mercy South. She was 95.
She had to quit school at age 15 to help the family. With her father’s help and him talking to the owner of the dime store, she started to work. She later got her GED and took college courses.
Her banking career started at Arnold Bank in 1963. Then to Carondelet Savings. In 1968 she became manager of Gravois Home Savings and Loan, now PNC Bank. She found time for the PTA and raised money for the school performing with the Kitchen Band.
She was secretary of the Arnold Businessmens Association for 11 years. During this time she was also Chairman of the Arnold Park Development Commission. She put teenagers with the Neighborhood Youth Corp. to work improving Arnold Park. They were always preparing for the annual carnival and fair, which has grown into Arnold Days! In 1993 she started Mother Me Dolls with her daughter Denise. They poured, molded, baked, finished and sewed beautiful dresses to create dolls. She loved to sew, paint, arrange flowers and take care of plants, so many plants. Decades were spent in a ladies prayer group. She loved learning the word of the Lord.
She was married for 59 years to Martin Baeumner until his death in 2006. She still considered herself married and just celebrated her 77th in October. They had 3 children David, Denise and Deena.

Prayers 🙏 🙏 🙏
Sis. Maxine was a lovely child of God. It was an honor to go to church with her and for her to be my sister in the Lord. I’m certain it was a pleasure for the Lord Jesus to escort her into heaven. She was a wonderful Christian example to others.
So sorry about Maxine. She lived a good long life here and is definitely enjoying her presence before the Lord and being reunited with so many who’ve gone before her including my husband Don. I loved your Mom who was so full of wisdom. and the love of the Lord. Sorry I can’t be at the funeral. You all hav my deepest sympathy ❤️
