Baggio2

In Loving Memory

Baggio, James “Jimmy” Edward

James “Jimmy” Edward Baggio, 52, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend whose impact on those who knew him will never be forgotten.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; his step-son Aaron, of St. Louis; his son Eric McCrary; his daughter Kyrstin Baggio; and his siblings Rose Caples, Roberta Johnson, Donald Axtell and Sheila Thomsen, all of St. Joseph, Missouri. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dolores (Belcher) Baggio; his sister, Billie Jo Beaver; and his beloved daughter, Amber Baggio.

Jimmy was a dedicated truck driver for over 25 years. He took pride in his work and enjoyed the freedom of the open road. Beyond his career, he was an adventurer at heart, always dreaming up and planning the next journey to share with his family and friends.

Jimmy’s generosity extended beyond his life as he was an organ and tissue donor, giving hope and life to others even in his passing.

A devoted husband, a loving father, and a steadfast friend, Jimmy’s humor, generosity
and adventurous spirit will be missed more than words can express. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jimmy will be cremated at Kutis funeral home in South County and his celebration of life will be held at a later date.

  4. When I was introduced Baggs(what I always called him)I was told to tread litely around him and was warned that he wouldn’t like me so don’t even bother trying to talk to the man. But when he and I met, it was like we had known each other for years. And that actually pist off a couple people. He was a good friend we kept intouch every since. We was two of the first 6 drivers at that company. We rolled together for 3 years. Was the first trucking job I actually enjoyed. The warnings were pretty accurate I must say
That man could piss of a room full of drivers so fast, with just a few words and a chuckle. He was the best asshole I have ever had the privilege to watch work his magic, and one of my best friends. I’ll miss you brother Baggs.

  6. Baggio, Brother I will miss you greatly. I met jimmy when I was 16 in job Corp, Chadron Nebraska. It seems like a lifetime ago and I guess it now is. He called me Dangerous Dave, we both stood up for what we believed in . I had many altercations in that place being a country boy out of my element. Baggio stood right beside through all of them, we always won! He would say Dangerous you really got us in a spot now then laugh we always went forward. If you were his friend he loved you! And now that I’ve grown up and look back he was my most loyal friend and that means alot when you lived the life we did! I’m a follower of Christ, no longer the fighter we once were. Eternity is coming for all of us. I pray all of his friends and loved ones be found in Jesus Christ on that day!
