Brown, Arveda E., (nee Buffington) passed away on July 3, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Rex Brown; dear mother of the late Sondra Yankey and Milo Boyles; dear grandmother of Brian (Leigh Ann) Boyles, Mike (Connie) Wissbaum, Tracy (Don) Brown and the late Greg Wissbaum; our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Monday, July 10, 10:00am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
Sending healing prayers to Arveda’s family. Arveda was such a kind and caring person, who touched the lives of many. I’ve only known Arveda for a few years yet I feel like I’ve know her a lot longer. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. ♥️
My heart goes out to Arveda’s family and friends. I feel their loss in a loved one who was such a ray of sunshine, she had such a great smile and was always friendly. Arveda was an Angel here on earth and now has gone to heaven to be with the Lord, family, and friends. She will be missed but not forgotten.
My heart is heavy to hear of her passing. She was a very lovable person, but I’m happy she didn’t have to suffer long. I sure will miss her at the beauty shop on Fridays. Loved her son so much. He had repaired my car at his home after I had a wreck. Turned out beautiful. She sure will be missed by her grandchildren. My deepest condolences goes to them.
Sorry to hear of Arveedas passing. After doing her hair every Friday morning for about 30 years we will certainly miss her. She certainly was loved by all. I never knew anyone who loved people more than her. She touched a lot of people’s lives and will always be remembered.

smile for everyone. She will certainly be missed.

Brian, Tracy and Family… so very sorry on the loss of your grandmother. U were very lucky and blessed to have her in good condition in every aspect up until this time! Prayers and peace to all.
What a sweet neighbor she was-always smiling and waving from her porch. Her laugh brought great happiness and she will be missed.
