Joanie-Chestnas

In Loving Memory

Chestnas, Beatrice “Joanie” (nee Scheve)

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Friday, February 16, 2018 with her children and grandchildren at her bedside.  Beloved wife of the late John W.  Chestnas and Charles E.  Robertson; loving mother of  Sharon (Wayne) Krejci, Suzanne (Dr. Kent) Snowden, John (Robin) Chestnas and Jeffrey (Sandra) Chestnas; dearest grandmother of the late Andrew Bryan Krejci; dear daughter of the late  Bernard and Virginia (nee Kober) Scheve.

Joanie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

For 50 years, Joanie was a successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker/ Gundaker. In her career, she was always in the Million Dollar Club (annually). Her “Big Hair” was her signature and she wore it proudly.  Our favorite Joanisms are “The higher the hair, the closer to God” and “I love a vodka, two at the most, three I am under the table, four I am under the host! Who’s the host?” Joanie was one of a kind.  In life, someone crosses our path and you know, that was a once in a lifetime person.  They leave footprints on our hearts.  Joanie will live in our hearts  forever.

Services:  Private Funeral Services were held.  Donations can be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children – St. Louis (4400 Clayton Rd., St. Louis, MO 63110, attn: Terri Andrew) or the  Alzheimer’s Association in remembrance of Joanie Chestnas,  appreciated.  A KUTIS AFFTON SERVICE.
