Conine, Ronald D. Sr. “Ron”

Conine, Ronald D. Sr. “Ron” entered into rest on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley A. Conine (nee Heusohn) for over 62 years; loving father of Debbie (Darren) Noble and Ron Jr. (Amy) Conine; cherished grandfather of Katie, Brendan and great-grandfather of Carter; dear brother of Melba (Ted) Galyean; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He worked for At&T for over 25 years in the finance dept, until his retirement in 2010. In retirement he enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the St. Louis Metro Senior Golf Assn. for many years. Ron also loved reading, listening to music, working puzzles and keeping fit; his greatest joy was spending time with his family and who could foget his dog Max. He is gone…..but never forgotten.

Ron was laid to rest surrounded by his family in a private ceremony and J.B. National Cemetery. A KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL SERVICE.

  1. As a high school classmate of Ron, we will miss him greatly. Ron was a great person, respected and liked by all his classmates. I knew him since the 3rd grade in elementary school, and to know him is to like him. Wish to express my condolences to his family as they mourn his loss.

  2. My deepest sympathy to your family at this time. Ron and I attended Jennings High School for many years and graduated the same year. I recall him being soft spoken and always a gentleman.
