  3. I first met June when I was 9 years old, when my Uncle Richard first saw her on Bates St, she was very cute & petite he fell in love with her! I remember the two of them sitting on the front porch of grandma Dallas’s house on Ray Ave., Uncle Richard wanted to kiss her, he gave me 50 cents to run around the block so I would go away so they could kiss. They were so cute together. Aunt June & I hv one story that I hv always apologized for that uncle Richard made me do at 9 years old to her when he knew she was going on a date with someone else.
After they married I would babysit with Aunt June’s brother Rich Scocco so she could go out with her girlfriends.
I visited at her apt we talked & laughed about those early years! Love Dale

  5. It is hard say to the words goodbye to someone you love so much❤️I am not sure how my momma would have done life without her brother Rich and her sister- in-law June. My uncle and aunt!!! They help her raise us!!! With the help of our grandparents. It really did take a village in our life!!! They were our second father and momma!!! They were there when our momma worked, they lookout for us, teaching us so much about life. They helped us learn life isn’t a free ride!!! You showed respect, you had manners, you did what you had to do to help around the house, you had responsibility and most importantly how much what family means!!! Family is everything. You show up for family!!! I personally can never repay her for the help she gave me with my son Brett. The love she showed him I will forever be grateful for my aunt June!!! I am blessed and grateful for my uncle and aunt and my amazing cousin/more like siblings. We don’t see each other as much as I wish we could!!! Life is busy. However the love I feel for them will forever be in my heart❤️ I know my siblings feel the same way. I believe they feel the same way. I am so grateful for the life God gave us!!! Nothing like growing up in a house with great cousins!!! My prayers are with them🙏 and aunt June you will be so missed! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!!! My cup Runneth over!!! See you on the other side. I am sure you will be standing with my momma and the both of you will be holding Brett’s hand❤️
