Denman, Minnie “Jo”

Minnie “Jo” (Sitzes) Denman, 90, of Arnold passed away peacefully Feb. 8, 2023. Throughout her lifetime Minnie Jo was a devoted Christian and delighted in raising and caring for her family. She had a well-known sweet tooth and could always be found in the kitchen baking treats for her family and community. Her hobbies included bird watching, tending to her flowers, watching Cardinals baseball, and attending church with her family.

Born July 12, 1932 in Marquand Missouri she was the daughter of the late Ford and Lilly Sitzes. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Bobby Denman, and her siblings Wanda and Melvin. She is survived by her sister Oretha (Phil) Brewster and her four children, Devin (Connie) Denman, Justin (Michelle) Denman, Perry (Sharman) Denman, and Patricia Denman. She was the beloved Nana to David Denman, Jennifer (Chris) Schejbal, Nathan (Ashley) Denman, Miranda Arman (Sean), Cory (Makayla) Lewis, and Jared Denman, as well as her great grandchildren Lucas, Owen, Logan, Cora, Callum, RJ, Aidynn, Coleson, Brantley and Brooksen whom she loved to spoil rotten with love and treats.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday February 13th, 2023 from 10am- 12pm at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., with service starting at 12 noon. (service concludes at funeral home)

Interment will be held on Tuesday February 14th at 11:15am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Interment procession will depart from Kutis Funeral Home at 10:45 am.

  3. As hard as it is to say goodbye in this life, I know without a doubt that my aunt Jo has arrived at the place we all long to be. With Jesus! My prayer is for God’s comfort for her family.

    I love you 2 dearly.

    You will be missed and remembered FOREVER ♾️❤️

    I’m sorry I didn’t the last couple years.

    Us kids will never forget the country or the Arnold home ever.

    Positive Memories will carry us al through the difficult times.

    Justin, Nathan, Jared, Cory, Miranda, and Jennifer we may have our differences but differences don’t have to mean we keep distances between us.
