Saucier, Derike Duane age 54, entered into rest on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Loving husband of Melanie A. Saucier (nee Mathis) for over 16 years; cherished father of Zakkary Saucier and Alexander Hoffman; son of the late Jerry and Shirley Saucier and brother of the late Darrel Saucier; our dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Derike was a devoted husband, father and member of Solid Rock Church. Derike received a BS of Arts from University of Southern Mississippi and an Associates of Science, Radiologic Technology from Delgado Community College. His work as a radiologic technologist was more than a job- it was a passion.
Derike’s favorite hobby was car detailing and he took great pride in his work. He always made sure everyone in his family drove a clean car. He also greatly enjoyed serving his church in the media department and being part of the Hospital Visitation Ministry.
Derike loved to tell dad jokes and his friendly nature led him to strike up conversations with everyone he met. His family, friends and co workers will miss his quick wit and the lending ear he was always willing to provide. He is gone but…….. never forgotten.
Services: Visitation at Solid Rock Church 899 Gravois Rd, Fenton, Mo 63026 on Sunday, Feb 1, from 2 p.m. until time of service 4 p.m. with services concluding at Church. Melody and Zak he left you too soon but our heavenly fathers timeliness is perfect. Derick is in our heavenly city and “Oh what a sight to see”. He is looking at Jesus!. Can you imagine how he feels? I am comforted by the visual of Derick sitting down for a chat with Jesus.
Melanie, I am so sorry for you and your son Zach. I know we haven’t gotten in touch much but I do follow you and I am really sorry. You’ve always meant the world to me and I always cheered your friendship when I worked at Express Scripts and will always still cherish it. I will try to make the funeral on Sunday if the weather permits. Your friend always Janet Zimerman.
