Desrosiers, Marian Louise (nee Holtkamp)

December 10, 1929 - August 28, 2024

Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection, Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Armand G. (Al) Desrosiers; dear mother and mother-in-law of Kevin (Elizabeth) and Donna (Steve). Dear grandmother of Mike (Meagan), Matthew (Erin), Chris (Marsha), and Amanda. Dear great-grandmother of Annabelle, Robert, Baia, Rogan, Tayven, Coelir, Anna, Benjamin, Chloe, Daniel, Ellia, and Frederick. Dear aunt, great aunt, and friend.
Marian was born in St. Louis. She served in the USO where she met her husband, Al. She continued her volunteering activities after her marriage at her parish and at the Benedictine Sister’s convent. Marian enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting and made several keepsakes for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed stamping and was still sending handmade cards to people for special occasions.

SERVICES:  Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri 63123), Tuesday, September 3, 9:00 a.m. to St. Mark Catholic Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mark Catholic Church or the Benedictine Sister’s facility in Clyde, Missouri are appreciated.  Visitation Monday 4 – 8 p.m.

  1. We are so very sorry for your loss. Marian and Al were such great people and such wonderful neighbors. We have wonderful childhood memories of them. So many years of marriage and they are together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. Chris and John McBryan

    I send my condolences to you and your family. I see that Mrs Marian was a giving person and I hope that the family is proud of the legacy she leaves behind. May the Lord bless her as she receives her reward from Jesus Christ her Savior.
