passed away suddenly April 18, 2018. Born June 16, 1954, she was the second oldest of eleven children.
Karen spent over 40 years as a nurse, beginning her career at St. Mary’s Hospital and most recently with Lutheran Senior Services. Karen was incredibly dedicated and compassionate and loved serving her senior patients.
Karen’s favorite role, however, was that of Mom, and especially Grandma. She leaves behind her three children, Michael (Emily Phillips), Emily (S.J.) Pagano, Tommy, and the light of her life, grandson Louie. She will also be greatly missed by her father, Robert Kramer, his wife, Myra, her siblings, Ron (Marilyn), Tom (Nancy), Bob, Joe (Annette), Tim (Benedicte), Dan, Mary Rogan, Michael (Christine), Kathleen (Tom) Reinwart, her former husband, David, our dear Aunt, great Aunt, cousin and friend.
She will be welcomed into heaven by her mother, Elizabeth (Betty Baum), and brother, Jim.
Services: Visitation will be held at St. Michael The Archangel, 7630 Sutherland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119 on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. with Mass immediately following at 10:00 a.m. Private interment.
