“Aunt Kate” was a joy to be around. So enjoyed her enthusiasm on our trip to Germany.
So sorry for your loss – Kay was loved by so many. My husband and I were blessed to be a neighbor and friend for so many years. We shared time together on St. Vincent de Paul, where she gave so much of her time. She will be missed. Prayers to all her family that you will have many beautiful memories to share with one another.
Kate ( Mrs. Duerst to me) was one of the sweetest ,caring ladys I know. Her daughter Terry and I went to High School together are best friends! Mrs. Duerst was always smiling ,and laughing when I’d see her ! She was there when we asked about Girlie stuff and boys ! You could talk to her about anything! She had a long wonderful life living to be 92 yrs old ! Thoughts and prayers going out to Terry,Richard, Gene, and their entire family and friends at this most difficult time. May she Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ ,forever and ever,Amen.
Richard and Gene,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew your mom through Dot Gormley and ladies from Nazareth. We got together occasionally for lunch. She was very sweet and so nice.
My deepest sympathy!
