  11. It was such a shock to get an email from Jane Engel LaMartina that Kathy had passed away. It was so nice to see her and talk to her whenever our class at Mary Queen of the Universe had a reunion, and it was great to see her at the 50th reunion for our Class of 1970 at Notre Dame High School. Her entire family has my deepest sympathy at this time.

  12. To The Follmer Family,
You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of a beautiful Daughter, Beloved Wife, Loving Mom and Grandmother.
I was a classmate of Kathy’s at Notre Dame High School, Class of 1970. I hadn’t seen Kathy for many many years until our 50th Class Reunion. I heard someone call my name and I turned around to a sweet, full of energy, Kathy Metzger. We had a great conversation, exchanged cell numbers and we promised to get together for lunch some day. That day never came. It was pushed off at least 3 times due to Kathy’s schedule. Oh how I miss that we didn’t connect. But Kathy is in a much better place, free of pain, iv’s, nausea and everything else that cancer brings on.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
