Gilchrist, Kenneth Eugene Sr. Born September 21, 1929, St. Louis, MO., went home to see Jesus on Thursday January 22, 2026; preceded in death by beloved wife Delores Helen Gilchrist (nee Cave, March 5, 2005), married May 27, 1950; dear father of daughter Angel S.A. Gilchrist; sons Kenny E., Jr. (Kathy), Ricky L. (Maria), Terry L. (Cheryl) Gilchrist; dear grandfather of 6 grandchildren; dear great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren; dear great great grandfather of 1 great great grand child; preceded in death by father John Quincy Primm Gilchrist (April 24, 1957), mother Nellie A. Reynolds (June 21, 1940); dear sister Gloria Mae (Stuhlman); dear brothers John Marvin Jr., Ralph Joseph, and David Claude Gilchrist.
Kenneth was an Army veteran during the Korean War receiving 2 Bronze Stars and a Korean Service Medal.
Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road (at Butler Hill), on Friday, February 6, 8:00 a.m. until service at 9:00 a.m. Internment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
