Pat was a dear person whom I met in 2016 and we became instant friends. We made a perfect match, as she couldn’t see well and I could hear well, and we helped each. So between the two of us we able to go on tours, play Bingo and enjoy special dinners, among many other activities. On the weekends when there wasn’t much to do, we would spend our time playing canasta . She will be missed by everyone here. But, I will miss her the most.

Pat was my supervisor at Lutheran for several years (on the night shift). I considered her a friend and always loved hearing updates on Cindy & Keith. She was so proud of them. I bet she was the perfect grandmother.
I asked her to write a letter of recommendation, which she did, and that started my career in Pharmaceutical Sales. I will be eternally grateful.
I can sum her up in one word: Lady.

I was so impressed with how Pat was handling her physical limitations when seeing her at class reunions and in chatting with her on the phone while collecting information for our Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing alumni bulletin for our class of 1961. Praying for that peace that passeth all human understanding for each of you family members and her close friends particularly for Millie as Pat had shared how they were a team in assisting each other.
