Hartmann, Franklin Christian (aka Coach Hartmann)

February 15, 2023 at the age of 89 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and grand-dogs (all a big part of the family). The first love of his life was baseball, followed by his lovely wife Doris Hartmann (nee Crooks); father of Rachel, Reid (Gina) Hartmann and Amy Groh; Cherished grandfather of Connor, Pierce, and Max Hartmann, and Andy, Zachary, and Joshua Groh. Coach Hartmann is playing ball again.

Services: Private burial at Jefferson Barracks. Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Missouri @ 1201 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110 or your favorite non-profit. A Kutis South County Service

  5. Dear Doris, Rachel, Amy and Reid, my sincere condolences. I still remember the days, when I was visiting you at your old house, seeing Frank, throwing balls towards Reid for him to hit. He took me also to ball games. I like to remember those days. I am with you in my thoughts. Life is limited, but memory is infinite. Johannes Schott
