  1. I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend for many, many years on Maureen Lane. I have many fond memories from my childhood growing up next door, and also when I became her neighbor again, in my adulthood. Rest in peace Mary. My condolences to the Haynes family.

  2. Michael, we are so very sorry for your loss. Even though we never met her, she must have been a wonderful mother to have produced and nurtured such a wonderful son. Our prayers are with you and Debbie and all your family and most especially for your mom.

  3. Many f0nd memories of Mrs. HAYNES, her dry wit, interest in others, her knowledge of people made her always fun to talk to. She was a good friend to my mother, Anita, and Mrs. HAYNES will surely be missed. We know her faith and trust in the Lord has her in a much better place and we will see her again
God bless and comfort you all. Love, David and Ann Ihms

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

  5. So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. A special lady. Tootsie (as I knew her) was my mom’s best friend. They are back together again along with their friend Lee.
    Prayers for your family.

  6. Dear Haynes Family, I am so very sad to find out that your sweet Momma passed away. My Mom Laurene (Lehr) Doerr was friends with your Mom from Kindergarten until she passed away in 2013. They met at St. Anthony of Padua school all those years ago.. My Mom truly loved and admired your Mom. As young kids, they attended all kinds of celebrations and activities at St. Anthony’s together. As young ladies, they belonged to the same Club from St. Anthony’s and they enjoyed getting together with other classmates. As young married couples, they attended Wedding showers, Weddings, Baby Showers and sharing pearls of wisdom with each other about love, life, marriage and child rearing. My Mom was a Godmother to your brother, John. Your Mom and mine spent hours talking on the phone over the years because my Mom never drove and we lived in Northwest St. Louis County. My sweet Momma unfortunately had Alzheimer’s in her later years. Your Mom would call to talk to my Mom and she always was able to cheer my Mom up. Later on, your Mom would frequently call and talk to me or my husband to ask about my Mom’s condition. She always had words of encouragement and comfort. Your Momma was a blessing to so many people. She was a beautiful soul who loved and served her family, friends, neighbors, and our Heavenly Father. I am so sorry for you loss. My Mom loved your Mom so very much and so did I.
