  2. I am so saddened to hear of Ron’s death. I have been friends with Ron and Joan and their kids for 40 years. I never met a nicer kinder man. He was always there to offer a helping hand. A man of few words, but when he spoke it was with heartfelt sincerity and wisdom. As a Viet Nam Vet, he held such a high place of honor in my heart. I would remind him of that every Veterans Day.. Time and circumstances have reduced our time together to occasional phone calls, but our friendship and our memories live on. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. May his memory be eternal. He was one of the best.

  4. My condolences to the entire Hoff family. Ron will always be remembered as the kind “older brother” on our block of Louisiana growing up. Everyone was given a nickname – mine was Chocolate. Keeping all in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. My condolences to Ron’s family. Ron and I went to high school together at St. Mary’s and played on the same baseball team for a season. We didn’t see each other after graduation until we had a class reunion a few years ago, Ron approached me and we were able to catch up. I left that brief meeting thinking that in all that is important he is the same guy he was 50 years ago. Ron was always nice to everyone, unassuming and quick to praise and compliment others. He expressed his love of family and was a guy that was totally attentive to what you were saying. I think the world was a bit better place with Ron in it. Please know that you are in my prayers for comfort at this very difficult time.

  7. What a wonderful man and human being. I got to know Ron and Joan through my sister Tina, and ditto of her same words, he was a man of a few words. But when you had a conversation with Ron, he was so interested in how “you” were doing and “what have you been up to girl?” I worked in Creve Coeur and will never forget Ron delivering our mail on occasion, and would come in with a smile that would just brighten my day! I will always cherish those memories and am grateful to have ever known such a kind hearted soul. My condolences to you Joan and your family.

  13. Joan,
I was sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I have so many memories of you and Ron picking Angie, Nora and myself up and giving us a ride. The thing that I will always remember is watching you two holding hands on the center console. I thought you two were the sweetest. If I remember right I think it was a green Charger that he drove.

Prayers for you and your family.

Ron and Joan and Roy and I got together for many events in our adult lives. We enjoyed traveling many times. Ron was always a quiet man, but very pleasant and concerned about everyone. He loved his family dearly. I know he will be missed so, so much by all.
Heaven has another Angel and many there to welcome him🙏🏻

  19. Ron was a gem and treasured by many. His smile always twinkled in his eyes. He had much to be proud of, his beautiful wife, 3 beautiful children Scott, Erik and Angie along with his beautiful grandchildren. He couldn’t ask for more. And to think it all started in a lime green charger at the Clark station.
We treasured our time together and we are amongst the many that will miss you. 🇺🇸
    Our sympathy
