Rev. Ronald Jansen passed away January 27th, 2024 at home.

He was born May 24th, 1941 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. His family were dairy farmers. Pastor Jansen graduated from Concordia Seminary (St. Louis, MO) on May 26th, 1967. He married Karen Jansen on May 27th, 1967. They have four children:

Rev. Nathan and his wife Shelly Jansen, two sons, Trevor and Collin.

Dr. Aaron Jansen and his wife Melissa Jansen, a daughter, Amelia, and a son, Augie.

Adam Janson

Dr. Sarah Stuhlman, a daughter, Abby, and two sons, Lucas and Andrew.

Pastor Jansen served four congregations: St. Martins (Winona, MN), Zion Lutheran Church (Albert Lea, MN), Immanuel Lutheran (Marshfield, WI) and Holy Cross (Collinsville, IL).

SERVICES: Memorial service will be on August 3rd, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Resurrection Lutheran Church. Memorials may be sent to BJC Hospice (670 Mason Ridge Center Dr, St. Louis, MO 63141) or to Resurrection Lutheran Church (9907 Sappington, St. Louis, MO 63128)

    Ron was an exceptional leader of our Friday bible class for a long time, a good friend, and best of all a strong Christian witness.
    He is missed by all.

  2. Ron inspired me to teach sunday school and serve in church offices when I was just i my mid- twenties in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Had had a lasting effect.on my life. Rest in peace with the Lord Pastor Jansen.

  3. I knew Rev Ron Jansen through his leadership of our Friday Coffee and Conversation. What a leader he was. Loved every Friday to be with him and and hear and understand his approach to every lessons. A great loss for us all. Rest in peace friend.
